The beautiful Wilayah Mosque has 23 composite domes designed in the traditional form of the Ottoman mosques in Turkey.

Especially interesting is the outer cladding ornamentation technique that was specially developed using computerized "pixel" technique. This new technique allows patterning of ornaments using mosaic tiles that can be displayed in any form or colour in a high degree of smoothness and quality.

The outer cladding of the 30m main dome is finished in turquoise mosaic tiles with floral motifs in the style of Safavid mosques in Isfahan. Its inner cladding is of a simple relief ornamentation in pale cream.
