Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Mosque,
Abu Dhabi

The Grand Mosque, also known as Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Mosque is the largest mosque in U.A.E.  It has some of the worlds best artifacts that adorn the mosque, marble cladding for the whole structure, as well as intricate Islamic decoration and carvings.

Premier Composite Technologies is commissioned to produce various structures in solid black American walnut with hand-cut and hand-laid Mother of Pearl and Silver inlay works: a Minbar, an Imam's chair, 44 Niche Panels and 32 Koran bookshelves.

The intricate nature of the work required specialist craftsmen - 15 Moroccan wood crafters, 6 Indian Mother-of-Pearl specialists and 60 Filipinos working on this project. On Cebu Island, 70 Mother of Pearl crafters hand cut and hand inlaid all the Mother-of-Pearl for the 44 Niche Panels.
