The M-10 Hovercraft The M-10 hovercraft is specifically designed to the requirements of the Defence & Security market and with the advise of experienced UK Military consultants. By introducing light weight Advanced Composites we achieve a significant reduction in weight. With only 2 common Diesel engines the M-10 offers unparalleled performance with 10 tonnes of payload at a speed of 50 knots. Optimised ducted fans ensure a significant reduction in noise. Due to its high efficiency, the M-10 can offer the extraordinary range of operation of 600 NM with its standard fuel tanks only, an essential capability for any Military or Paramilitary Force. It is the first ever Hovercraft of its kind with cost of operation and maintenance even lower then those of conventional displacement patrol vessels, but offering true amphibious capabilities. The M10 requires no formal marine infrastructure. Coxswains are trained as “Pilots” within 40 hrs, its crew of 2 can provide 1st line maintenance in the field. The M-10 is also the first Hovercraft certified to LR 100A1 full class (previous craft CAA approved) – the only craft that was awarded a Millennium Product award by the UK design Council for its advanced technology.
