Innovations in technology and construction in the Farr 11s have come together to produce the ultimate speed machine in prepreg/Nomex honeycomb in the canting keel and twin rudders. The Farr 11s sports a skiff style rig with no backstays to hassle with on tacks and gybes, an easy to tack non-overlapping jib and a powerful asymmetrical spinnaker on a retracting sprit. The hull shape combines the demands for minimizing light air (low speed) drag with high-speed stability and excellent handling qualities. Twin rudders will help control in extreme conditions while the raked bow offers better wave jumping/piercing control. 6 boats sold. |
