Dokkae Tower

Premier Composite Technologies has been awarded the contract to build the cladding for the Dokkae Tower in Mekka. This project involves the last 200 meters of the uppermost part of this prestigious tower. It includes the  biggest clock in the world  of 43 meter diameter.

The composite cladding will be of Carbon/Glass fiber covered with Italian mosaic tiles; of which 13,000 square meters is with gold mosaic. The total  cladding is 35,000 square meters!!

The clock face is done in Glassfiber/Epoxy sandwich laminate, and more than 600,000 LED's are integrated into the composite cladding to light up the clock face by night.

The clock hands, which are up to 23 Meter long are built in Carbon fiber, and again lit up with LEDs.

Premier Composite Technologies has dedicated over 40,000 square feet of their recently further expanded facilities for the tiling works for the Dokkae Tower. There will be more than 75 people just for the tiling of the gold and normal mosaic.
